It also does not guarantee availability, acceptance, equipment, capacity, pickup or delivery timing, or pricing. A service arrangement exists only when the applicable terms are confirmed directly by Longshore and the customer through the appropriate transaction documents.

Quotes and service planning depend on the accuracy and completeness of information provided by the customer, including freight characteristics, weight, dimensions, container status, locations, dates, equipment requirements, appointments, and special handling needs. Pricing and availability may change when shipment details change or when additional services, waiting time, storage, equipment, accessorial charges, or other requirements apply.

When a logistics or brokerage arrangement applies, transportation or related services may be performed by independent third-party carriers or other service providers rather than directly operated Longshore equipment or personnel.
